Longineu Parsons III has been playing the drums since he was five and was the drummer for the band Yellowcard. He played with his dad, Longineu W. Parsons II, in his band The Longineu Parsons Ensemble and now together again as the Longineu Parsons Quintet. Longineu Warren Parsons II is a classically trained trumpeter who plays in a wide variety of styles including jazz, blues, jazz fusion and classical. Parsons has played for Nat Adderley, Cab Calloway, Doc Severinsen, Herbie Mann, Archie Shepp, Sun Ra, Branford Marsalis and many more famous jazz legends.
